We believe that families are the heart of The City and wish to curtail the exodus of families from San Francisco. The Gujral Community Fund’s giving is focused on helping ensure that families in San Francisco have safe homes in which to live, fresh and nutritious food to eat, access to prenatal care, and safe and engaging outdoor play spaces within their neighborhoods.
Our mission is to improve the lives of San Francisco families by contributing our time and resources to organizations with the infrastructure and ability to make a positive impact in our community.

We're excited to share a grant made in December to the Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center.
PRRC was founded in 1952 by Janet Pomeroy to provide recreational opportunities for teens with disabilities. Their mission “is to provide recreational, vocational and educational opportunities for people with disabilities…” which they accomplish through a variety of programs. Participants gain greater self confidence and independence through these programs and services which “encourage self-expression [and] promote personal achievement”.
